We Have An Announcement!

By | Uncategorized | No Comments

Dear viewers,

We have decided to take a break from YouTube to bring you better quality videos that will take you along as we modify shipping containers and install accessories.

Halfway through filming our past videos, we learned that using a GoPro and mic that wasn’t even plugged in was not the best way to do this. So we have brought on new staff, purchased a new office, new camera, and computer gear, and we will focus on pre-production to give you a better viewing experience.

A few months ago, we started a YouTube channel to provide you with the correct information on container modification and container homes. There is a lot of misconception about container homes out there. We want to make sure you have the right information to build your next container project.

We have so many exciting videos coming soon, so please be patient! We will still be posting on our other social media sites, including YouTube Shorts, so follow us on our platforms to keep up with what we are doing. We will see you soon!

In this video, we will show you how to install shelving on the end walls and sidewalls of your shipping container using the Bolt-On D-Ring and Shelving Brackets. This is a quick and easy way to install shelves in your sea can without welding or puncturing holes through the container walls. You can use this product to help organize your shipping container shed, storage unit, office, or home.

This product also allows you to add lashing points to secure freight and container stuffing while also keeping it wind and watertight and cargo-worthy. The D-Rings are laser-cut so you can install them on the floor or ceiling of end walls or sidewalls of a Conex box.

Converting A Shipping Container Into An Insulated, Fire Rated Utility Building

Converting a Shipping Container into a Master Control Room (MCC electrical service shack). The Container Guy will take you along as we modify a sea can into an MCC electrical shack.

We will first install drywall and checker plate flooring before we cut out and install doors and ventilation frames.

The next step is installing steel stud framing and spray foam, which is followed by a 2-hour fire-rated wall construction system.

We will finish off the mod by installing a 10” exhaust fan, intake damper vents, a heat pump / AC unit, panic bar door hardware with a self-closing device, and a final coat of epoxy floor coating.

Many construction methods and tips in this video transfer over to container home and cabin construction in Northern climates.
